It’s easy to get into routine and go through the motions, which is why it’s so important to change things up every so often, even if it’s something as small as trying a different drink at your favorite coffee shop or something like a change of scenery. As Texans, we pride ourselves in “the bigger the better” mentality, but as someone who is a fan of Marie Kondo’s “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up”, minimalism, and de-cluttering, this tiny home was a wonderful place to check out for the weekend! It was experiencing the lifestyle of the bare essentials. And the best part, it was right in town and walking distance of a beer garden, pizza place, and minutes away from Midtown/Downtown area. And to add cherry on top, there was a rooster and a hen outside, I was able to channel my inner “Joanna Gaines”
I found this place through airbnb, and was instantly drawn to it! I love to see how small spaces are designed because designing spaces are one thing, but with tiny homes – it’s on a whole new level of being resourceful, efficient, etc.
By the way, who said you couldn’t have a two story tiny home? The bottom floor is the living room, kitchen, and bathroom while the second “floor” is basically loft area/bedroom.
Thank you Rory for taking a shot of me!
